Calmness Is Power: A Guide to Inner Strength

I truly think that it's important to write today. I'm going to write on stress management and how to control yourself well. So here are the things we should be knowing, one of the best ways to reduce stress is to accept the things that you cannot control. I'm pretty sure that a lot of times we try to control things that cannot be controlled. You can't control the weather but you can carry an umbrella they say. So why not just do that? There are certain things in life that no matter what happens, you simply cannot control. You cannot control how to deal with them at all. So better just live your life the way you want to live and don't try and control situations. Somethings will slip away and somethings won't. So better be who you are and control what you can. That's the only way to be happy and healthy.

So don't try and control things that you can't control. Rather control what you can. For example, you can control effort but not the outcome. You can control your reaction to a situation, but not the situation in itself. You can control the way you live, you exercise, you eat, but you cannot control anything external to that. So what's more important in life is that you focus on what you can possibly control and leave everything else to God or whoever is the care taker there. So yeah, that's where we want to be in. We want to control only on what we possibly can and leave the rest of the world.

What this gives is that you also feel confident about handling situations in life when you control what you possibly can. That way you will be living a full and a more healthier life. You won't be focused on yourself. For example, even your face. You cannot really control your face. Where you are born. How you look, whether you have a big nose, a fat nose, a skinny nose, but you can work on your body and improve it better. So the first step to self-love is self-acceptance and only when you accept yourself fully and completely, you will be able to accept the world. Okay so that's an interesting thought in itself. What else, there are other external situations that you cannot control. Accept that. Live with what you can control and then you will know that focus is all about narrowing things down and not broadening things. So focus well on what you possibly can. That's the only way to be healthy and happy.

Calmness is the cradle of power. I like this. We all know what a cradle is. The thing where the baby sleeps on. So calmness they say is the cradle of power. When we think about this, it's so true. When we are calm, we know that that's the cradle of power. We are super powerful when we are truly calm. We want to be calmer and calmer. Why do we say that calmness is the cradle of power, because we know that when one is calm, one is able to navigate the challenges of life in a much better way. You generate more ideas when you are calm and you would not need external validation in any case. So go ahead and be calm. No need for wanting any sort of external validation from the world. I feel instagram is that one place where we need external validation at times. Rather people need external validation. So go ahead and live your own life and let people come and go at their own terms. That's the way to be happy. We are talking about calmness. I think for calmness to happen it's extremely important that we plan things ahead in time. No matter how good or bad we want to plan things. Even if the plans don't work out. Even if things don't go right. We plan things. That way you will always know if plan A does not work, plan B will and if plan B does not work plan C will. That will naturally bring you a lot of calmness in life. Imagine when you are calm, what really happens is that no one can really shake you. You rather take the negative things and make it positive. No one can really drain your energy as well. So one has to be calm and relaxed in all times in life.

The true strength of a man is in calmness. Although this is true and I know it. I would love for gpt and copilot to expand this thought.

The notion that true strength is found in calmness is both profound and practical. Often, society equates strength with physical prowess, loudness, or dominance. However, real strength is demonstrated not by the absence of fear or challenge, but by the ability to remain composed and clear-headed in the midst of adversity. Calmness is the hallmark of inner fortitude, an indicator that a person is not easily swayed by emotions or external pressures.

There is tremendous power in calmness. When a man is calm, he can think rationally and make decisions that are not clouded by anger, fear, or impulsiveness. This quality allows him to lead others, resolve conflicts, and navigate difficult situations with wisdom and grace. Calmness also fosters trust and respect, as people naturally gravitate toward those who remain steady in turbulent times.

Calmness is also magnetic. People gravitate toward those who stay centered during the storm. Leaders who remain calm inspire trust. Partners who stay calm offer safety. Friends who stay calm create stability. When you are calm, you think better, speak wiser, and act with greater clarity. You make better decisions—not out of fear, ego, or anger, but out of purpose.

Take a look at these tips:

1. Be mindful : One of the first things they say is that one has to be mindful of situations and circumstances in life. By mindful what I mean is that one has to be in the present moment and be non-judgemental. That's how you can be mindful.

2. Always be kind: When you are kind, you reflect that back on others. That way you will always be kind and rooted in your own life rather than worrying too much about others. When you are kind, the world will be kind to you.

3. Be Engaged: By engaged, one has to be engaged in the work that they are doing. If you are writing a code, just write the code and be completely engaged in the code. If you are writing an email, just write the email. No need to do anything. Be focused on the task.

4. Be level-headed: What I mean by being level headed is that, no matter how good or bad the situation. You don't really have to react good or bad. Sometimes you will succeed and sometimes you will fail and you want to be the same person in success and failure.

5. Set goals: In order to move your life forward, you need to set goals. Goals that are ambitious enough for yourself. Goals that move you in a direction that you want to move. If the goal is to earn X amount of money, you set the goal and move forward in that direction. If the goal is to get 70kgs in the next 2 months. You set the goal and move forward in that direction. That way you will always be stable in your life and you will make sure that your life is moving forward in the direction of the goal.

6. Understand perspectives: We all need to understand that people will have different perspectives about a particular task. One can say that you have to do the task in this way, the other can say that the task needs to be done in some other way. However, we want to understand the perspective of everyone and then take a decision in life.

7. Anticipate Needs: One of the best things is that you anticipate certain needs in the organization before they actually come. Once you anticipate those needs, you will be able to serve the team and the organization in that direction.

8. Be prepared: One has to be completely prepared to for everything. If you have an interview, prepare your level best. If you have something else, prepare your best. No matter what you do in life, you have to prepare your level best in everything that you do. That's one way of succeeding. It will not guarantee success but it will definitely increase the chances that you will succeed in a certain domain.

9. Maintain a healthy work-life balance: When you are living with something, you need to maintain a healthy work life balance. Have life outside of work. Have friends and people that you can go to on your tough days. That way you will find a lot of joy in meeting and greeting people.

10. Take training: Keep learning to stay sharp and calm. Training doesn’t always mean formal classes, it can be books, online courses, or learning from others. The more you train, the more confident and prepared you become. When you're well-prepared, you're less anxious and more in control, no matter the situation.

What are some exercises the readers can do for being calm and relaxed ?

1. Planning: Take your week. And whatever activities that are required to do in the week, plan that week well and properly. That way you will find a lot of joy and peace in the things that you are doing.
